We’ve got some fantastic news! As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your experience at The Pole Room, we’re rolling out a number of membership updates just in time for Term 1, starting Monday January 13, 2025. These are designed to give you more control and flexibility as you plan your pole & aerial journey.

Here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing and how it will improve your experience:

1. Alignment of Membership Sessions with Our Program

Starting from January 9 2025, sessions will be credited in full at the start of term. No more waiting for your membership payment to run to lock in your classes. Instead the entire terms sessions will be credited to your account, aligning the session expiry with the length of the term.

This means the number of sessions available in your account will reflect the number of weeks in each term, allowing for a seamless fit between your membership and the courses you choose.

Example: If you are enrolled as a Casual Flyer (2 sessions per week), you will automatically receive 16 sessions for the 8-week term.

From day 1 of term your sessions will expire in 56 days – essentially doubling the validity of the sessions.

2. Empowering Members to Take Control of Their Schedule

A significant improvement we are implementing is giving you complete control over booking your courses and classes, removing the need for front desk assistance. Historically, course bookings required manual approval or action by staff. With the new system, you can independently manage your schedule.

What You Can Expect:

• The ability to book all courses directly through our app or website without needing to visit the front desk.
• Greater autonomy over your training schedule, providing you with more flexibility to adapt your bookings as needed.

3. Early Access to Term 1 Bookings

To assist with planning and ensure you can secure your desired class times, bookings for Term 1 will open January 9, 2025. This provides ample time for you to review the upcoming schedule and select the classes and courses that best suit your needs.

Key Benefits:

• Early access allows you to reserve classes before they fill up, giving you peace of mind that your preferred spots are secured for the term ahead.

4. Full Course Bookings Available for All Members

In addition to taking control of your schedule, you will now be able to book entire courses independently. Previously, full course bookings could only be arranged by request at the front desk. Moving forward, this process is fully automated and available through our app and website.

How This Impacts You:

• You no longer need to rely on in-studio staff to manage your course bookings, saving you time and simplifying your planning.
• All available courses will be clearly displayed online, allowing you to make informed choices about which courses best match your goals.

5. Course Bookings Integrated with Our App

We are pleased to announce that all of your course bookings will now be fully integrated into The Pole Room app. This means you will have real-time access to your schedule and all bookings in one place.

What You Will Notice:

• All bookings will automatically appear in the app, providing a comprehensive view of your upcoming classes and courses.
• You will receive notifications and reminders to ensure you never miss a session, making it easier to stay on top of your training.

6. No Changes to Membership Payment Schedules

While we are making significant improvements to the booking and scheduling processes, your membership payment schedule will remain unchanged. Payments will continue as normal, so you do not need to make any adjustments to your current payment arrangements.

Preparing for Term 1

• Key Date: January 13, 2025 – This is the start date for Term 1, at which point all of the above changes will take effect.
• Early Access to Bookings: January 9, 2025 – This is when you will be able to secure your place in upcoming courses.
